CHB celebrating its 40th anniversary

Willemstad – On December 20th CHB celebrates its 40th anniversary. As the exclusive mortgage-only bank on the islands where it operates, CHB has made it possible for many to become home owners, while establishing itself as a prominent leader in the mortgage market.

CHB was initially founded by Algemeen Pensioenfonds van Curaçao, back then known as APNA, together with other insurance and pension institutions. The main approach for CHB was to help public officers to become home owners by offering them favorable financing terms. Soon CHB’s fame as favorable financier spread island wide and eventually CHB made its services available to everyone on Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire and the former Windward Islands. Throughout the years CHB never strayed from its roots as a facilitating Bank. Nowadays CHB is still known as an accessible bank, offering personalized service and always doing the utmost to make home ownership possible for its customers.

At the start of 2016, CHB launched its new logo which consists of 4 colored circles, representing: mortgage specialism, product and service innovation, partnership offering customers customized mortgages and understanding by helping customers with their other financing needs beyond home ownership.

CHB is grateful to all its customers for their loyalty shown throughout the years which has built CHB into a stable bank adding value to the communities where it is present. Therefore, in 2017 CHB will go on celebrating its anniversary with surprises and gifts for its customers and the community. Moving forward CHB will continue to facilitate singles and families alike to become home owners in a responsible manner, without having to give up the pleasures of life.
